I am so proud of Drew. He trained hard and successfully completed his first Triathlon in Lexington, KY on October 5. As a surprise for him, I made shirts for the boys to wear that on one side said "My daddy is Tri-ing" and on the opposite side said, "Go Daddy!" We got to spend a little time with Dave and Becca in Louisville then Dave joined us in Lexington for the race.
As you can see we got an extremely early start. All 5 of us: Dave, Drew, Me, Brooks, and Moses.
Apparently Drew's mom has always put scripture in his shoes before football games. I never knew, but Drew knew exactly what was in that special envelope when Malinda handed it to us before we left.
